Meaning: One should meditate upon Sri Skanda, who is praised by hundreds of Vedas and shines like a gem; who possesses pure Sattva Guna like a gem; who is a gem that bestows welfare upon ascetics; who is a gem invoked in Yajnas; who is the enemy of the Asuras; who is the husband of Devasena; and who is a beautiful-bodied gem that conquered Manmatha (Cupid).
