1. The Creator & Guardian (Names 1-12)

  • Bhairavane: The one who protects (from the root Bhṛ) and removes fear.
  • Bhaya-nasagane: The destroyer of fear.
  • Ashta-rubane: He who has eight forms (Ashta Bhairavas).
  • Ashtami-thondrale: The one who appeared on the eighth lunar day (Ashtami).
  • Ayan-guruve: The teacher to Brahma (Ayan).
  • Ara-kavalane: The protector of Dharma (Righteousness).
